QSL and QRZ Information

QSL Requests
I am intermittently active on HF and low VHF bands, chasing DX
mostly using digital modes. There are plenty of active
amateurs in my grid square, so my location is by no means rare.
Even so, I still occasionally receive requests for QSL cards or for
electronic QSL confirmations.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for me to send QSL cards
to everybody in the logbook — there are just too many,
and the postage would be brutal, even through the bureau.
Please do not send me QSL cards, because I cannot return
a card to you. Please do not send SASE or bureau cards,
either.
I am not a member of ARRL, and I do not chase awards.
I do occasonally upload to LotW
to support people who are working on awards.
If you are chasing an ARRL award, and would like a contact uploaded
for your award, please check your LotW account first. If you
can't find the contact you need, please send me an email (address
above), with the details. If I can find the contact in
my log, I will make a reasonable effort to upload the log entry.
For now, I am not participating in other log services.
Direct Email Contact
If you try to email me, you may be requested to verify your email
address. You will receive an email with instructions,
which only requires a one-time visit to a validation website.
If you don't validate when asked, your email to me will be ignored.
I'm sorry for the extra step, but it is necessary to keep out all
the junk mail sent to me.
I do not maintain an ARRL email address, so please don't try to
contact me through ARRL.
QRZCQ Information
I maintain a profile on
QRZCQ, with
links to basic station details and popular projects.
Feel free to send me a message through QRZCQ, if you prefer a PM
over email.
QRZ Information
I recently decided to cease all participation on QRZ.com,
including messages, logbook content, and forum discussions.
Please do not try to contact me through QRZ, because I won't
see it, and I won't respond.
